How to make a Motorbike using LEGO parts

Hello and welcome back. In this project, we will learn how to make a Motorbike using LEGO parts. That is a very interesting project. For that, I have mainly used LEGO beams, gears, axles, and a motor. You can choose colors and sizes as you like. This is all based on my personal experience with LEGO building. For powering up the bike in this project, I specifically used the LEGO XL motor. However, don’t hesitate to modify the design according to your preferences. OK, let’s do this project step by step. The required components are given below.

Step 1

Firstly, identify these components.

Secondly, let’s assemble the swing arm. For that, connect the two 13 LEGO beams to the LEGO frame. Then, connect it to the 5×11 LEGO frame. For that, use an axle. Also, attach the small LEGO gear wheel and half-bushing to the end of the axle.

Step 3

Third, connect the rear wheel to the swing arm. Use an Axle for that. Also, install the rear sprocket wheel to the end of the axle.

Step 4

Next, assemble the front fork setup. For that, use the picture below. I have used the four 9 LEGO beams.

After that, connect the front wheels. I used three wheels. Because I want to balance the bike.

Next, install the LEGO motor. For that, I used the 7 LEGO beam.

Now, assemble the bike seat and back parts. Then, connect it to the motor. For that, use the picture below.

Next, install the rear shock. For that, follow the pictures below. I used a soft spring shock absorber. You can choose it as you like.

Step 9

Now let’s assemble the front parts of this bike. First, install the two LEGO frames on top of the motor.

After that, assemble the motorbike handle. For that, I used two LEGO beam bents. Then, install it in front of this bike.

Next, assemble the bike face. For that, use the picture below.

Now, connect the front sprocket wheel using an axle and connect the LEGO chain. After that, cover the front sprocket wheel using a LEGO beam bent. That’s a sprocket wheel supporter.

Step 13

Next, install the battery and receiver on the back of the bike. Then, connect the motor to the battery box.

Step 14

Additionally, I have assembled a paddock stand. For that, I mainly used the two LEGO beam bents, one LEGO frame, and two LEGO beams. You can avoid it as you like.
